Erik Coler is a graduate of the Rabbi Arthur Schneier Park East Day School class of 2005. After his time at Park East, Erik enrolled in Elizabeth Irwin High School. After high school, Erik attended SUNY Fredonia, where he majored in Political Science and graduated with the class of 2013.

Erik currently works for Mercer Partners, a Hedge Fund and just last year started his own Real Estate Investment Firm.

In addition, Erik has become engaged politically. Erik is a proud member of the Village Independent Democrats, one of the oldest Reform Democratic Clubs in New York City.

Erik was elected as the youngest President in the 60 year history of his local political club and as a community board member. Erik pursues local tenant rights issues and environmental concerns as a way of giving back to his community.


When describing his time at Rabbi Arthur Schneier Park East Day School, Erik recalls, "I remember walking into the synagogue and being amazed by its beauty. I remember, loving my teachers and the classes. It really was an incredible experience and not only talking about the education but in learning about what it means to be Jewish from a young age."
